Resin Fundamentals & Safety: Learn what epoxy resin is, how to measure and mix resin and hardener accurately, and essential safety practices including wearing gloves and aprons.
Techniques & Experimentation: Participants learn techniques like pigment mixing, pour control, heat gun bubble popping, masking, and working with molds or silicone forms.
Embedding & Customization: Depending on the workshop theme (such as block casting, coasters, or seasonal keepsakes), participants embed items like pressed flowers, glitters, metallic foils, or color swirls.
Curing & Finishing: Instructors guide participants through the curing process and post-cure techniques like sanding or edging.
Shared Bonding & Teamwork: Designed for parents and kids to collaborate on one or more joint resin art pieces, building patience and fine motor skills.
Guided Autonomy: Tutors encourage children to take the lead on design choices while parents assist with precision tasks like measuring or heat-treating.
Take-Home Keepsake: Once fully cured, participants take home functional art pieces like decorative resin blocks, coasters, or ornaments.
Parents of children under 16 who participated in any Cultural or Creative courses are eligible to apply for a tax deduction of up to €300 per child.
Budding Artists is a licensed educational entity and recognised by Arts Council Malta, allowing parents to claim a deduction of up to €300 per child against their chargeable income.
Starting from courses attended in 2024, Budding Artists will handle the application process on your behalf with your approval.
