By the end of the session students will take home their 15cms Christmas Nutcracker, a perfect way to add a personal, handcrafted touch to your holiday decorations.

​This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the captivating world of medium-scale model painting. Under the guidance of the tutor, students will be led step-by-step through the process of transforming a primed blank model into a detailed, vibrant nutcracker figure.

You’ll gain practical experience and master essential techniques, including:

Proper Brush Handling: Learn how to select and manipulate different brush types for fine lines, smooth base coats, and detailed work.

​Paint Application and Blending: Discover techniques for applying acrylic paints evenly, layering colours for depth, and subtle blending to create realistic shadows and highlights.

​Detailing and Finishing: Receive instruction on adding intricate details—like facial features, uniform accents, and boots—to bring your miniature soldier to life, concluding with tips for sealing and preserving your finished piece.
