Terms & Conditions

I agree to the following:

Places are on first-come first-serve basis and are ONLY confirmed and secured once payment is affected.

Budding Artists reserves the right to change, reschedule or cancel any sessions as deemed necessary.

Parents of children who opt to purchase their own materials, should always make sure that the material is kept up to date, and replace any finished items.

When attending our sessions, it is a requirement for young artists to wear the apron provided by our school. Please make sure this is labelled.

Children who are not feeling well or sick must not attend to classes for obvious reasons.

No refunds are given for missed lessons. However, your child will be offered the option to attend an alternative slot to make up for the missed lesson. If all slots are full, an online video tutorial will be sent, which children can follow at their own convenience at home.

Once payment and booking have been confirmed, please be aware that we do not accept any requests for refunds or postponements. In this case, a credit note will be issued, which may be redeemed on other courses or sessions provided by Budding Artists.

Please be aware that we do not offer refunds in the case a participant is unable to continue the course due to an injury or a change in their health condition. In such circumstances, we may issue a credit note that can be redeemed for other courses or sessions offered by Budding Artists.

Sessions may be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or directives from Health Authorities. In such cases, lessons will be rescheduled accordingly.

Parents/Guardians are expected to be aware of and keep track of the provided lesson schedule, holiday dates, and mid-term breaks.
If a lesson coincides with a holiday, students will have the choice to attend alternative lesson slots with a different group. If students choose not to attend any of the replacement options, there will be no refund provided. However, an online video tutorial will be sent as an alternative learning resource.

The Budding Artists team cannot take responsibility for the safety of children before and after the officially scheduled lesson times. Please make sure that you do not drop the children and leave them unattended before class opens.

Parents should respect punctuality in both drop-off and pick-up times. Please be aware that the lesson process will be disrupted if a student arrives late. The same applies for the case when a student is not picked up on time. This will interrupt the flow of the following lesson, or may intervene with the opening/ closing times of the studio.

Budding Artists collects and processes information as necessary to fulfill its functions. All personal data collected is handled in accordance with the principles outlined in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and the Data Protection Act (Chapter 586). This data will not be shared with third parties unless required by legal obligations.

Budding Artists is a licensed and registered educational entity as per the DQSE recommendations, and is also found on their online public registry as a fully qualified educational organisation. In this light, school forms for extra-curricular education can be filled in and signed by Budding Artists. Further, we are also in line with the Malta Arts Council requirements, hence we can fill tax rebate forms (for the fees paid in the previous year.) As per regulations, the tax will be deducted from your yearly tax due. Forms should be printed and filled by the parents, and handed as a hard copy so that we can fill and stamp the concerned fields from our end.
